On November 23, 2023, Dr. Buranin Rattanasombat, Chief New Business and Infrastructure Officer - PTT Public Company Limited (PTT) (center), presided over the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding for cooperation and joint operations in the development of rail freight businesses on the Thailand-Cambodia-China route, as well as related logistics services, among Global Multimodal Logistics (GML), SCGJWD Logistics Company Limited (SCGJWD), and Pan Asia Silicon Company Limited (PAS). Also present at the signing were Mr. Chansak Chemsri, Deputy CEO of Engineering and Infrastructure, PTT, and Chairman of the GML Board of Directors (third from the left), Mr. Charvanin Bunditkitsada, Co-CEO SCGJWD (second from the left), and Mr. Bunn Kasemsup, Co-CEO SCGJWD (far left), as well as Mr. Zhu Xijun, CEO of PAS (second from the right). The signing aimed to explore business opportunities, enhance capabilities, and reduce logistics costs by leveraging the expertise and experiences of each organization. The collaboration seeks to promote the transportation and distribution of goods using the rail system in Thailand, expanding services to cover the entire ASEAN region and elevating Thailand's transport standards to a global level.
