On September 11, 2023, SCGJWD provided support for the National Labor Skills Standards Committee for the Service Sector, specifically focusing on the Cargo Truck Driver occupation, under the Department of Skill Development. During this engagement, the committee discussed and proposed revisions and improvements to the National Labor Skills Standards for Cargo Truck Drivers, including the testing criteria and testing methods. These proposals were presented for consideration by the Labor Skill Development Promotion Committee.
