On June 12, 2026, Logistics Academy by SCGJWD participated in the certificate presentation and closing ceremony of the “Career Development Program for Conscripts in Truck Driving” or “New Driver” Program, Batch 2 of 2026. The training program was conducted from June 8–12, 2026, at the Air and Coastal Defense Command in Chonburi Province.

The program was organized through a collaboration between SCGJWD Academy, SCG Foundation, and the Royal Thai Navy. The ceremony was presided over by Admiral Prasong Sangthong, Chairman of the Conscript Career Development Committee, who presented certificates to the graduates. Mr. Seksan Chumaksorn, Managing Director of SCGJWD Academy, also attended the event to congratulate the participants. A total of 25 conscripts successfully completed the training in Batch 2 and are now equipped with professional knowledge and skills to pursue career opportunities after completing their military service.

Enhancing Professional Skills and Expanding Equal Employment Opportunities

This initiative reflects Logistics Academy by SCGJWD’s commitment to conducting business while creating shared value for society. Through professional truck-driving training and equal access to employment opportunities, the program helps conscripts develop practical skills that can support their future careers.

Under the project plan, the program aims to train 100 Royal Thai Navy conscripts annually in truck-driving skills, divided into four training batches of 25 participants each. The initiative also plans to expand its collaboration to include the Royal Thai Army and the Royal Thai Air Force, providing training opportunities for an additional 100 conscripts per year. As a result, the program is expected to benefit a total of 200 conscripts annually across all branches of the armed forces.

Pathways to Careers in Logistics and Supply Chain

Following their discharge from military service, SCGJWD and its affiliated companies are committed to supporting employment opportunities for program graduates. Participants will have the opportunity to pursue careers in logistics and supply chain operations based on their qualifications and suitability, helping them secure stable employment, generate sustainable income, and improve the quality of life for themselves and their families.

This initiative represents another important role of SCGJWD in developing human potential, creating career opportunities, and supporting the growth of Thailand’s logistics industry while contributing to sustainable social development.
