JWD Group embarked on its journey in 1979 as a specialized logistics services provider, offering services in home and office relocation, property development, and document storage. Later, the company transitioned into comprehensive logistics and supply chain solutions, emerging as a leader in three distinct industrial sectors demanding specialized expertise: automotive and parts, chemicals and dangerous goods, and food and cold chain. Up to the present moment, JWD Group has extended its domain of expertise to the ASEAN region, broadening the delivery of innovative logistics solutions.

Prior to the economic crisis, the company functioned solely as a transportation support agency for Siam Cement Public Company Limited.
Following the economic crisis, known as
“Tom Yum Kung,”
the company underwent restructuring. This involved the separation of transportation operations, leading to the establishment of a new company named "Siam Cement Logistics (CTL)" which initially served customers within SCG Group.

Capitalizing on the surge in online trade in Thailand, SCG Logistics
enhanced its services by introducing "express parcel delivery" in collaboration with Yamato Japan, the leading express delivery service provider in Japan. This initiative resulted in the establishment of "SCG Yamato Express," offering express parcel delivery services tailored for B2C, C2C, and e-commerce customers.
